Source of Madness — is a dark roguelike action game set in an alternate reality where the world has not entered the Age of Enlightenment, and Lovecraft’s magic and monsters exist, or rather allow you to exist. The world is under the control of cosmic entities. The human race is on the brink of extinction, never abandoning its attempts to survive to see the sunrise once again. You play as newly minted novices in the Tower of Knowledge, where the people of Loam have taken refuge from the unsettling hordes of monsters that are currently flooding their lands.
