Spintires The Original Game is an SUV simulator where you have to deal with many obstacles on the roads of the open world. The fleet is endowed with many models of cars on which you have to sweep off-road. It is necessary to note the beautiful landscapes and corners of the planet that you can enjoy. True, you must constantly monitor the road so that once again you do not get stuck in a mud pit. How to Install the Game

  1. To start, you need to download the game files.
  2. Then, unpack the archive with «WinRar» or an analog.
  3. Mount the resulting image in the «UltraISO» program.
  4. Install the game, agreeing with the installation wizard.
  5. Download & install Update v1.6.1, in game folder.
  6. Copy the contents of the folder «PLAZA» to the folder with the game.
  7. Lock the game folder in the Windows firewall.
  8. Play!

Version 1.3.7 is now available on the "public_beta" branch.

There are some significant changes to note with this update. Firstly, we will no longer reset your settings with every update.

Secondly, we have changed the way the game writes to and reads configuration files within the [Spintires/Users/] directory.

Within [Spintires/Users] directory, you will see the following new files.
  • BaseConfig.xml: this is the new Config.xml file, but it must not be changed. Consider your changes lost if you ignore this warning.
  • MediaPaths.xml: this file determines where the official Data Sources are found, including DLC if owned.
  • Config.xml_disabled: generated after the first launch of the game, this file is the old Config.xml file that has been disabled. If you had precious information stored in Config.xml before the update, you can find it back here.

  • Option to remove the 60FPS cap.
  • Orbital camera mode.
  • Right-side view angles in classic camera mode. Cycle by tapping or holding 1 or 2.

Fixes
  • Fixed missing force feedback for some joysticks and gaming wheels.

Added "default" camera mode selector to the options menu.
 
Improvements / Adjustments
Changed orbital camera focus position.
Truck mechanisms (crane, anchors, etc...) are now operated with keys 5 to 0 instead of Ctrl+1 to Ctrl+0.
Pressing the trailer camera key ("2" by default) no longer does anything when there is no trailer.
Mods altering DLC content now work when dropped in the Media folder.
Orbital camera focus point moved toward the front of the truck.

Update v1.5.0:

Together with the Vehicle Pack, we have also pushed out the v1.5.0 update. The significant change in this update is the ability to save multiplayer progress so you and your fellow comrades can pick up where you left off!
 
It is also now possible to unlock vehicles on the map for other players, meaning even if you didn't unlock a particular truck on the map, another player can go get it for you and then you can then jump into that vehicle regardless (teamwork)!
 
Additionally; work on improving the appearance of Spintires was done with the goal of providing more vibrant, true-to-life colours! Hopefully, you'll agree that the game looks much better now.

Notes
- Each member of a multiplayer game has its own save.
- Resuming a game does not require all members from the previous session to be present.
- All members present when resuming a game need to have their save.
- Starting or joining another multiplayer game will overwrite your multiplayer save for that map, and you will not be able to join players resuming from the save you just lost.
- Starting new games in singleplayer will not affect multiplayer saves.
