I've received a LOT of feedback over the last few days, and one thing is very clear. Players are divided into two main categories: those who want to challenge themselves to learn the game/mechanics, and those who would rather go through the game with less challenge (presumably with a more Mario-like difficulty).

For those in the first category (want a challenge and learn the game/mechanics), not too much is changing. I'm patching and fixing any unfair parts so you won't be cheated.

For the latter category, I'm introducing a new difficulty mode - Lite. In this mode you'll be able to gain health by attaining a 3x combo (instead of 4x). You'll be offered the option (but not necessarily encouraged) to change the difficulty after having a few game-overs on a level. You'll have some bonus HP while fighting overworld bosses.

A question to prospective Lite difficulty players - would you like blue chests to contain 1 heart as well as gaining hearts from 3x combos? I need to make sure this mode has the correct settings and your feedback is required!
