The Haunted Hells Reach The Fog — is a third-person multiplayer shooter set in hell. Each player plays the role of one of four (not counting the outwardly identical) people who will have to survive against zombies and other monsters. There are four game modes Inferno (fighting enemy waves on eight maps followed by a final boss fight), Survival (surviving as long as possible against an endless horde of enemies), Battle (a team death battle with four people against four monsters) and Demonizer (every person killed becomes a monster). Inferno and Survival can also be played in single player mode.

In most cases, the game does not deviate from the usual mechanics of a shooter: movement, zooming in for better aiming, and shooting at monsters before they reach the player. The only big difference is at low health: then rage comes, and each melee attack becomes an instant kill and restores some health. Health not only appears in certain places, but in the form of stones health is restored by shooting at them, but they are available only for a short time. The same mechanic applies to Chrono Stones (when not destroyed, causes negative effects such as fog over the map) and Soul Gems (must be destroyed to allow the killed player to respawn). There is also a counter of improvements; when it fills up, the next slain monster drops an upgrade that can be applied to one of four weapon types (melee, pistols, shotguns, and fully automatic weapons).
